Can anyone join group classes?
Group classes are accessible to most levels of fitness.
Prior to joining a group class, I recommend that you attend a 1:1 lesson at my home studio in Wimborne, Dorset, in order that I can assess your needs and we can discuss your individual priorities.
As class numbers are limited, I can offer exercise variations and there is time for individual correction.

I am a complete beginner so can I join a class?

My classes require a certain understanding of the techniques so, depending on your exercise history and health and fitness levels, usually a complete beginner will need some 1:1 lessons before joining a group.

Do I need an assessment?
For your safety, and so that I am aware of any conditions or injuries, all students must complete a full medical questionnaire.
If you are currently receiving treatment from a physiotherapist, chiropractor or osteopath, I will ask for your permission to contact them to discuss your treatment and exercise needs.

What should I wear/bring to class?
Please wear exercise clothing, not too loose, so that I can see your posture and assist with your alignment.
Please wear socks or have barefeet.
I provide all props and mats but please feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.

How do I pay?
Payment for a block of group classes (5-8 weeks) is in advance and can can be made via cash, cheque, or paid directly to my bank account.

How do I cancel?
Once you have a regular space in a class it is yours for as long as you would like to attend. I ask for 2 weeks’ notice or payment in lieu if you would like to give up your space.
There are no refunds for missed classes, but if you are unable to attend a group class please give a minimum of 48hrs’ notice, and I will hope to offer you an alternative class.
For 1:1 lessons I have a 48hr cancellation policy.
